The return of retro glamour has topped the hot hairstyle list for 2018. Reigning style icon Margot Robbie showed off the look - polished forties-inspired waves - to perfection at the Golden Globes and during her red carpet rounds promoting ‘I Tonya’.  Says MLD’s Creative Director Leon Gorman “Margo killed it with her blonde crop which was styled into vintage waves. Replicate the look in the salon or at home with a sweeping side part and sleek curls which can be achieved with a twist of the straightening iron.”

Fashion Fix: Classic Hollywood Black

The women of Hollywood showcased a sea of stunning black on the red carpet at the Golden Globes in support of the ‘Times Up’ campaign against sexual harassment. The fashion protest proved the allure of timeless black is eternal. At New York’s best salon we voted it the most chic awards in a long time, the only dilemma was deciding who wore it best.  For our money it was hard to resist award winner Diane Kruger in this old style Hollywood Prada gown.
