Runway watch continues as fashion week heads headed to London from New York and then onto Milan.  In London, sexy punk styles ruled at Versus Versace, while sleek side ponytails, pretty headbands and messy retro glamour was also showcased. It’s best to rock Gigi Hadid’s rebellious 90’s punk style at night says MLD stylist and colorist Tre Wyrosdic.  “The look is a loose, edgy bouffant with lots of hair in front to create a sexy overgrown fringe. Applying mousse to damp hair, roughly drying with diffuser and finishing with sea salt spray will give it that lived in, textured look.”

Serena Williams on her Baby and Body Shaming

The tennis legend who recently welcomed a daughter (Alexis Olympia) has penned a personal essay that acknowledges her baby has her “strong, muscular, powerful, sensational arms and body” and slams body shamers. “I was born with this badass body and proud of it," says Williams who also thanks her mother for encouraging her to be confident in her own skin.

New York Fashion Week is in full swing and trust Tom Ford to deliver seriousl sex appeal in the form of figure hugging dresses, ultra-sheer fabrics, racy micro minis and suiting with razor sharp shoulders. As for the hair, he gave the hottest models of the moment – Kendall, Gigi, and Lexi - short pixie crops with a punk edge.  “I love this look.  It’s the pixie with a modern twist and punky edge with its sharp textured bangs and layers,” says MLD’s Creative Director Leon Gorman.

It wouldn’t be NYFW without a star-studded kick off bash which came courtesy of the Harper’s Bazaar ‘Icons Party’ held at The Plaza, naturally.  And as the name suggests there was A-list overflow including Selena Gomez, The Weekend, Gigi Hadid, Kim Kardashian, Courtney Love (with hair courtesy of MLD’s Leon Gorman) Jared Leto, Cindy Crawford and her model daughter Kaia Gerber, Heidi Klum, and the celebrity list continues.  Get the red-carpet glamour here.
